Violet Distortion (ToneX Captures)

The JHS Violet is a pedal designed for Lari Basilio that provides a wide range of sounds, from warm overdrive to heavy distortion. The pedal features a powerful EQ—including Bass, Mid, and Treble—and a Mid Frequency that allows the pedal to cover overdrive and distortion. With the Mid Frequency and mids lower, it's overdrive, and when boosted, it gets into distortion territory.

I have the following EQ settings captured: (1 is minimum, 5 is middle, 9 is dimed).

B - Bass, MF - Mid Frequency, M - Mids, T - Treble

BC - Bass Cut: B4, MF3, M6, T5 (9 captures)

MB - Mid Boost: B5, MF 1, M9, T6 (9 captures)

MB 2- Mid Boost 2: B5, MF4, M7, T6 (9 captures)

LBHG - Lari Basilio High gain settings (from JHS video): B5, MF6, M6, T6 (9 captures)

LBLG - Lari Basilio Low gain settings (from JHS video): Bass 6, MF 3, Mid 3, Treble 6 (9 captures)

FL - Flat EQ: B5, MF5, M5, T5 (9 captures)

MC- Mid Cut B5, MF9, M1, T6 (9 captures)

I also have the 2 settings that Lari had on her board in the video - she had one pedal that was high gain and one that was low gain (the LBHG and LBLG are the same EQ settings but with all the gain stages). The settings for the pedals on her board are:

Violet Lari High Gain (should note - this is LBHG G8) - separated this out in case anyone wonders why G8 is missing

Violet Lari Low Gain (should note - this is LBLG G4) - separated this out in case anyone wonders why G4 is missing

I'm going to be honest, Lari's EQ settings are my favorites (but I included others since there are so many options). It makes sense though since the pedal was designed for her.
