NOTADÜMBLË Clean Channel
11 V2 Tonex Captures
Free
The NotaDumble's clean channel is a JFET clean boost that acts as a preamp, enhancing your tone rather than creating distortion. It is controlled by the "Input" and "Output" knobs, with "Input" attenuating bass and gain, and "Output" controlling the overall volume. This channel was originally misidentified, as it was based on the Dumble BBC-1 circuit instead of the John Mayer Box It Later, but the clean channel's function as a tone-enhancing boost remains.
Captured all Input values 0-10 (0 having more high end and 10 getting more low end). This is technically a boost. So, I've found that you have to get the input trim pretty much at max before clipping and turn the volume up so that it doesn't cut the sound. It can give a good EQ - but takes some work to get the volume right (since boosts really don't capture the boost aspect and it tends to cut the volume). This is why I'm giving this one away - I feel like if some others find some use in these, great...but I don't want to charge for them.
Hopefully some folks can get some good tones with these. I have found they work well in my DAW again, when turning the volume of that instance of Tonex up significantly - it does give the desired EQ changes the pedal does (just not the boost).
