This pedal is a remake of the original DOD 250, featuring a Silicone and Germanium diode switch. With just 2 simple controls, this pedal can boost or cut the signal and can also kick your gain up a notch!
The Level control regulates the overall output of the circuit and allows you to increase or decrease the signal. The Gain control modifies the level of gain within the overdrive circuit. Increasing the Gain results in more clipping as it drives the op-amp and hard clipping into overdrive.
The pedal can also clean up by rolling back the guitar volume. In a clean amp it gives a 70s-ish vibe, but I think it sounds best with an amp on the edge of breakup or already a little dirty - it takes it to another level.
